This is a forum for German Shepherd Dog lovers to vent, rant and rave over a variety of issues confronting the breed. All views are acceptable. The intent is to disseminate information and educational content about the breed, and provide various do's and don’ts of responsible dog ownership from those who care about the breed and of the communities we live in. The more we know - the more we can do to educate and live in harmony with others who do not fully understand the breed and their owners.

CA AB 1634 Pulled

Good news for a change

The American Kennel Club is pleased to announce that CA AB 1634 was
pulled today from the California Senate Local Government Committee by
the bill sponsor Assemblymember Lloyd Levine. The bill would have
required owners to spay or neuter all dogs and cats six months of age,
with few practical exceptions. Because of this development, AB 1634
will not be considered for the remainder of this legislative session.
